About

Welcome aboard! We’re looking forward to hearing from you!

Captain Levi’s, a family owned and operated fiberglass boat repair and boat detailing service in the Tampa Bay area, has been building custom fiberglass boats, maintaining and repairing fiberglass boats and fishing boats for the last 47 years on the west coast of Florida, Home Port to World Fishing Famous John’s Pass.

The General Manager and C.E.O., Captain David Holley, has been in the game of doing what he loves in the boating and offshore fishing business for the past 47 years. He has worked for some of the largest fiberglass yacht builders in the world and in every capacity, including Plant Manager. In the early 1980’s, Captain Holley broke away from the manufacturing business to pursue his love for deep sea fishing and adventure. After crafting a thirty-six foot custom commercial fishing trawler, he created another Holley enterprise. For ten years, he fished her in the offshore waters of the Gulf of Mexico in pursuit of American Red Snapper, Grouper, and Greater Amberjack and the Pot of Gold at the end of the rainbow. Captain Dave Holley’s experience on the sea made him understand more than ever the need for producing and preserving a safe sea vessel. Captain Holley and his crew understand the importance of quality repairs and materials that keep you and your family safe upon rough waters. Captain Dave has seen some rough waters. His thirty-six foot Pelagia Two has seen her share of Gale Force winds offshore. Class 1 Hurricane winds two hundred miles off shore will make you and your crew respectable of a sound, well designed boat! Captain Dave has lost good friends to the sea when their boats didn’t come home in the same storms.

Captain Dave Holley’s son and right hand man, Levi, was born in 1990 and has, like his father, grown up in the boating and fishing business. Levi mastered the Boat Detailing Division while he was mastering the craft of boat building repair and the technologies of the fiberglass materials and supplies Industries. If he’s not at the shop you will find him offshore fishing. After all, he is the son of a son of a son of a son of a sailor man.
