Restoring the Classics,
As Good as the Day They Were Built.
The fiberglass boats of the 1950s, 60s and 70s came from pioneering builders and designers whose hulls have stood the test of time, and they will never be made again. Captain Levi’s restores these boats to look and run as well as, or better than, they did when new, while keeping the style and character that made them worth saving in the first place.
“There are few things that can compare to the sense of pride and joy that comes from restoring and operating a classic fiberglass power boat.”
Captain Dave Holley

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a full boat restoration take?
Most full restorations take two to five days, depending on the boat’s size, how heavy the oxidation is and how many surfaces are included. We give you a timeline with the quote.
Will it remove all oxidation and stains?
It removes surface oxidation, chalking and most stains. Very deep stains, or gelcoat worn through to the laminate, may need gelcoat repair or refinishing — we point those out during the inspection.
Do you wax or ceramic coat after the restoration?
Yes. Every restoration finishes with protection: a high-quality marine wax, or a ceramic coating if you want it to last longer. We’ll explain the difference and the upkeep for each.
Can you match my boat’s original color?
Compounding and polishing bring back the color that is already in your gelcoat, so there is usually nothing to match. Where the gelcoat is too far gone, we tint new gelcoat to your hull.
How much does a full boat restoration cost?
It depends on the boat’s length, its condition and which surfaces you want done. Send us photos or book an inspection and we’ll give you a firm quote before any work starts.
