Highly recommended! I had a complete exterior refinish done on my heavily-oxidized navy blue 2012 Sea Hunt BX24. Captain Dave and his crew reconditioned the gel coat, and applied new logos and boot stripe; painted the Yahama engine cowling and applied new decals; and even painted the lower unit free of charge. Then they finished everything with an interior detail. The boat looks brand new!!! Very happy with the work! And, Captain Dave is an interesting and entertaining guy to talk to! Great experience, reasonable price.
brought my boat in to captain Levi's with a soft transom ..... 10 minutes with Dave he walked m thru how bad my glass was and what needed to be done. after agreeing on price Dave had his crew de lam my transom new board and glass and re lammed in ... I think I can add 100 hp on my next motor my transom is so strong !!! Dave and crew was so great and professional in their work I decided to paint and re rig boat with them !!! if you need boat work come down to see Dave at captain Levi's you will not be disappointed !!!!!HIGHLY RECCOMEND
I reached out to Captain Dave to look into repairing some trailer damage on the bow of my 2002 Maverick Master Angler. I emailed over a few pics to him and within an hour had a budget proposal. I met up with Captain Dave the next morning and he and his team began working right away. The repair was fantastic and matched perfectly. You can not tell there was ever any damage. They also compounded the sides of my fighting lady yellow hull and brought back the original luster. I am very pleased with the work and really enjoyed working with Captain Dave. I would highly recommend him and his team to anyone looking for any type of fiberglass repair, restoration or detailing.
Like most of us boaters, I prefer my boat to look perfect and like most boaters we screw up big time now and again. That is where Captain Dave comes in. He and his crew have the incredible craftsmanship to make it all seem like it never happened. You can see the scratches down my Starboard quarter just below the boarding door. A serious blemish that was remedied in short order. Captain Dave and his crew, Darren and Peter all showed up on time and went straight to work. Captain Dave did the color match and discussed the details with Darren and Peter who went to work laying in new glass sanding and gel coating. When the buffing was done all I could say was “what repair” because you can’t tell there ever was anything wrong. Incredible job, I could not be more pleased. I will definitely use there services again.
The guys at Capt Levi’s were off the chart good. I have 13 foot Boston Whaler that had several cracks in the boat and water was saturating the hull. They were able to dry it out and make repairs that are perfect. Highly recommend Capt Levi for all your fiberglass boat repairs.
My 28 foot Formula was launched from its lift when a lightning storm activated the lift. I was away for the summer and had removed the drain plugs so the rain water could escape. Not good though when the boat got launched unattended. The boat was rubbing against the neighbor's barnacle covered pilings for about four hours before salvage. Captain Levi and his crew completely restored the glass and paint to absolutely new condition. Additionally he had his crew detailed the interior that was covered in greasy hand prints from the salvors. Highly recommend Captain Levi's. Thanks Captain
5 STAR PLUS! Capt Levi’s is the go-to place for fiberglass and boat upkeep. We purchased a used boat in need of repair. After speaking with Capt Dave, we texted them pictures of our boat and they said to bring it down the following day. We had the following repairs performed: • Re-glass an 8 inch “L” shaped crack. • Re-gel and coat all damaged areas and match the colors. • Gelcoat restoration on all faded areas of the boat. The craftsmanship was astonishing, the price quoted was extremely reasonable, and the work was performed in the stated timeframe. You will be well-served by their knowledgeable and talented team: • Jose – Gelcoat Finisher • Fedil – Boat Detailer • Allie – Fiberglass repair It was such a pleasant professional business experience that we are taking our current boat back to them for some repairs.
Wow am i glad i found this shop. I broke my transom on a 21 foot deck boat. I spoke with Captain Dave about it and brought it in for him to see it. He not only gave me a fair price, but had the work done in 4 days time. Great shop! Great guys! Excellent work!! The new transom is solid as a rock and better than from factory. Outstanding Service, Genuine Care, and a Captain Who Goes Above and Beyond! This was my first experience dealing with a boat repair company, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better one! From the very first phone call, the Captain made me feel like I was talking to an uncle from up the street, someone I'd known for 20 years! His welcoming personality, honesty, and professionalism immediately put me at ease about having my swim deck repaired. What impressed me even more was his attention to detail. While working on my swim deck, he noticed some fiberglass chipping away near my transom. Without hesitation, he repaired it **at no additional charge!** He told me, "The Captain doesn't leave a stone unturned," and made it clear that he wasn't going to leave his beautiful work sitting next to something that needed attention. That alone spoke volumes about his pride in his craftsmanship. Throughout the repair process, I was also waiting on a mechanical part and had a few other things that needed attention. One weekend, his technician happened to be in the area and went out of his way to help me with an anchor issue and the installation of my new transom lights. Again, just another example of a team that genuinely cares about its customers. It's rare these days to find people who treat your property as if it were their own and make you feel more like family than just another customer.** The Captain and his crew did exactly that! If your vessel needs repairs, **PLEASE give the Captain and his team a call!** They will make what could be a stressful experience much easier, go above and beyond what you expect, and even share a few valuable boating tips and pointers along the way. I just got off the phone with the team at Captain Levi’s after emailing them photos of a small crack in my boat’s hull. Rather than trying to sell me an unnecessary repair, they took the time to review the photos and reassured me that it wasn’t something I needed to address right now, if ever. They simply recommended keeping an eye on it and giving them a call if it worsens. It’s clear that honesty, integrity, and their customers’ best interests come before making a sale. They earned my trust without charging me a dime, and if I ever need fiberglass work, I know exactly who I’ll be calling first. Highly recommend!
The staff was fantastic and conscientious of our repair needs. We had a through hole leak and they came out to our home, removed it, patched the fiberglass and reinstalled new parts for us. They checked and double checked to be sure it was fixed to our liking. Great company. Would use them again.
Captain Levi knows everything about boats and treats customers with great respect and no BS. He gave me sound advice about my boat when most boat repair shops would have padded their prices up on number of hours/rates and gladly taken me to the cleaners. Captain Levi shot me straight and I appreciated his honesty.
Our boat looked like new when Dave was finished. He is a great guy…man of integrity that does a great job for a fair price. Don’t take your boat to a big service facility that charges you for average work….go to Captain Levi’s for personal service and someone who is detail oriented.
